Tom Wilhite is president of Hyperion Pictures. Before co-founding Hyperion he was head of motion picture and television production at The Walt Disney Studios, where pictures made under his supervision include TRON, the first CGI film, and SPLASH, then Disney's biggest live-action success. A former executive director of Sundance Institute and Sundance Film Festival, Wilhite began his entertainment industry career at the Rogers & Cowan public relations firm before joining Disney as a senior marketing executive.
