Tom Wilhite is co-founder and president of Hyperion Pictures. Prior to establishing Hyperion, he headed motion picture and television production at The Walt Disney Company, where features made under his supervision included “TRON,” the first CGI film, and “Splash,” until then Disney's biggest live-action success. A former executive director of Sundance Institute and Sundance Film Festival, Wilhite began his entertainment industry career at the Rogers & Cowan public relations firm before joining Disney as a senior marketing executive.
